Job description

Medical Biller is responsible for submitting and following up on medical claims to insurance companies and documenting the procedures and processes.
  • Fixed place of work is Žriedlova 13, Košice, with the possibility of a Home Office
  • Working Hours: flexible working hours

Salary

  • 1 000 EUR gross/month 


Job requirements

  • Manually file and complete web forms on various health insurance websites on behalf of U.S. medical care providers
  • Document procedures and processes for billing based on specific types of medical claims
  • Communicate with medical care providers in the United States via email and phone
  • Communicate with health insurance payers about the status of claims via email and phone


Personality requirements and skills


  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Employee must be able to communicate with US customers via phone on weekly basis.
  • Demonstrate ability to learn and apply US medical billing rules and procedures.
  • Demonstrate ability to learn and use the ABB Solutions Slovakia billing platform.
  • Microsoft Excel – advanced
  • Microsoft Word – basic
  • Microsoft Outlook – basic
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader - basic
  • Any experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, Microsoft Teams, Jira, and SQL databases is welcome, however, it is not a necessity
